Squared off!

I've had to take a break from the Sunrise Circle Jacket, just growing too slowly for my liking. I needed some instant gratification and these little squares are just the ticket.

Here's the plan for them.

Taking the Metred Square Rug as inspiration and using Isobel's pattern I've decided to make a small mat to cover some broken tiles on my office fireplace. I'm using Rowan's Handknit Cotton and the bright colours are working out really well. I think it'll look quite cheery when it's done. Of course I'm ignoring the fact that there's gonna be lots of sewing up with this. Here's the progress to date.
