Valencia Part Two

More pics of the city. The North Train Station. The Bullring! ( Don't think it's actually used anymore - we didn't go but I believe they show screenings of bullfights - no thank you!)A fairly majestic entrance!A Calatrava bridge.A pretty cool looking shop front! A fabulous food market, selling all sorts of wonderful fruits, fish, meats and wines, made us wish we were on a self-catering holiday. The market was housed here. Many years ago the city had a river running through it. The powers that be decided to divert the river and use the existing river bed as a public amenity - it's now fully planted and provides a piece of calm in the city for walkers and cyclists. And finally for today some delicious refreshments - freshly squeezed.
