In total there were three yarn shops all together, happy days. I’d no Spanish, they had no English but somehow we muddled through, I managed to secure natural yarns ( mostly – I did deviate a little). I got this,
and this, (No such thing as a free lunch - my sister called in over the weekend and agreed to strike a pose or too. Bit of a yoga girl!
and this,
and finally a little glitter
Well, there was three shops – I thought it only fair to give them all a little business. This time the husband got the whole “you don’t necessarily need to have a project in mind” thing and embraced, well endorsed my indulgence. Mmmmmmm, end result I had to buy another bag to bring home all the yarn purchases.
So no more yarn until the September trip to the Knitting and Stitching show – well except for the yarn that I have already committed to – like the yarn Holly has spun and dyed for me. Which I have a project in mind for!

Looks like you had lots and lots of fun :-) And wow, is your sister ever flexible!
Sharon, the Gods were definately a-calling!! You must have been in Yarn-Heaven with the 3 shops beside each other!! I can imagine the excitement.
Youe hubbie sounds like he is very patient with the yarn shopping business, anytime we go near a yarn shop, Micheál has learnt (from prev experience) to give me a time limit.....and an hour is too much for him (its only feels like 5 minutes!)
