Bye bye
I shed a tear, a few actually. I can't imagine how he felt. The end of many glorious years of entertainment for me, the end of his Wimbledon career. Many, many happy memories but Saturday was just too much, too sad. I didn't have time to dwell though. This was followed by this and in between I tried to keep up with this. Then it was back to tennis for this and maybe someone new to watch out for - I'll certainly be rooting for him to progress even further. After all that excitement I caught the end of this. I was exhausted and all I had done was sit in the same chair for hours - many hours. Watching, being entertained, knitting. Yes, I knit. I've been knitting away on the Sunrise Circle Jacket. I've no photos to show yet but I got lots of knitting done on Saturday. I've also got a F.O. to show off - just need to go find my camera.

Yes he was great and still is. Can't wait to see your Sunrise Jacket. Bet it's so pretty!
Thanks for commenting on my blog! Agassi was always my favourite. Doesn't he seem to be the nicest kind of guy? The sunrise jacket is another favourite. Such a clever pattern. Please show photos soon. :-)
Did you catch his initial reaction on losing to Nadal? He just looked so delighted for him, it was so sweet.
