Knitting and Food.

There's a clue to an upcoming knitting event in this picture (there's even a clue in the title)but for the moment my lips are sealed. We (Cheryl, Holly, Isobel & Sara), got together for a spot of knitting on Saturday. There was eating and drinking too and even a bit of plotting and planning but that's for another post. Isobel made the lovely chocolate brownies and Cheryl cooked a fantastic cheese chowder and yes, Cheryl that's a recipe request. There was also some lovely hummous too courtesy of Sara. I've been working on a large - make that extra large bag to hold all my WIP's. It's intended to replace the many paper and plastic bags lurking around the sitting room. This felted bag is going to change my bag lady habits. The pic below shows all the current WIP's.

All bar the bag (the purple shapeless lump hanging out of the couch) are on hold for a moment ( can you spot what they have in common?) the Jaywalkers too are excluded. Pattern is fine but just working up too tight (bizarre that my tension is too tight on these) so I'm gonna frog and cast on for the larger size.

They are all going to have to wait though, there's exciting knitting on the horizon..............
