Sunrise Circle Jacket
Sunrise Circle Jacket, originally uploaded by Clickety Knits.Pattern:Interweave Knits - Sunrise Circle Jacket - Kate Gilbert Yarn used: Karabella Soft Tweed in Red - 1100 Buttons: Glass spheres, an ebay purchase. Time Taken: em, yes tricky one that. I think I started it in February, finished it in May/June ( by finished I mean finished knitting and it wasn't exactly the only project on the needles during that timeframe). After a summer break I sewed it up in September just in time for the chillier weather and have been loving it ever since!
I knit the back of the jacket in one size and then decided it was going to be too tight and then as per others advice on the KAL I recommenced by starting instead on a front piece in a size up. The size up caused some yarn issues, as in I didn't have enough and I had bought my yarn online from a store in Australia. You might recall how Donni came to the rescue.
Anyhow, finally, finally, I've gotten round to posting about my lovely Sunrise which is keeping me so warm in our decidely autumnal weather here in Ireland.

Having seen it in person, it's a great piece of knitting! And well worth loving!
Oh my, that turned out so beautiful and the buttons are so stylish. Toatally love the buttons! I hear that this tweed yarn is really soft.
Very nice in the red, it is one of my favourite knits, that are so nice to wear.
I love your jacket! I is one of the best fitting I've seen!
Your sweater looks great, the color is gorgeous!
I really like your Odessa, too. I have some yarn set aside to hopefully become one for myself someday soon :-)
