I have a confession.

I’m back.

I have been back in Welly since last Monday but I haven’t felt like getting back to blogging.

Much like the last 4 week holiday we had in February I have enjoyed the blogging break. There is a little more to it though. My sister was here till Wednesday evening and we had to make the most of her last few days in Wellington. Then I had to keep myself busy trying not to think about the fact that I’m not going to see her for a few months and that our holiday was over! (I’ll permit a snigger here, I admit my life is one long holiday this year).

So, I’ve been busy playing tennis, joining a new knitting group, getting things back in order housewise and of course catching up on bloglines. (That eats up some time I tell ya – the amount of posts some people write in a 4 week stint would almost total my blog posts for the year).

We’ve just had a lovely weekend just chilling out in Wellington, doing some knitting , visiting cafes, the library (I missed it!) and generally taking it easy. It’s back to business now though. It’s Monday, a day where lots of things get started and I’m ready. I really and truly believe that I just needed to do all those things before I started writing again. I needed to know what everyone else was up to before I got back to blogging myself. I’ve caught up on bloglines. I didn’t leave a single comment but I owe a few people some lengthy emails. This week I promise.

I’ll be back tomorrow to start the tale. I even have to write for the other blog – Cathal didn’t join us for the first few days of travelling and much as I’d love to ask him I think he might find it a little difficult writing about the fun the sisters had in Nelson.

Till tomorrow then, I’ll just be busy sharpening my pencil.
